Mary Jane Reed

Mary Jane Reed is recognized and respected as an experienced executive coach and business leader. In these roles, she draws on her earlier career as a senior human resources executive with successes in corporate mergers, change management and leadership and organizational development. Building on over 30 years of business experience with Verizon Communications Inc. and Sierra Pacific Resources, where she served as Vice President of Human Resources, Mary Jane now serves as a leadership coach and consultant to clients and organizations. She is a frequent contributor and speaker at business forums and has served as program and conference chairs for several industry and professional conventions.

Mary Jane received her BA degree in psychology from Allegheny College and has also attended executive development programs at the Darden School, Wharton and MIT. She is a member of the Society of Human Resources Professionals and is a past president of the Washington, D.C. HR Leadership Forum.
