What’s Up with Your Questions?
One of the points I emphasize the most in my presentations and group coaching with next level leaders is the impact that good questions have on problem solving and bringing out the best ideas from others. My gospel is that the best questions start with the word, "what" and that just about any question you can think of can be reframed as a "what question." So, imagine how excited I was to see that the Center for Creative Leadership has a list of 20 questions that leaders can ask to encourage innovation and expand the thinking of themselves and their teams. Even better, just about all of them start with what!
